Neurological Rehabilitation

Neurological rehabilitation is treatment for patients suffering from a central nervous system (CNS) dysfunction. PT Pros trained physical therapists collaborate with other medical professionals, patients and their families to improve sensory processing, cognitive processing, gross and fine motor performance, mobility, and functional independence through physical therapy. Our goal—to improve quality of life.

There are many ways a patient can suffer from central nervous system dysfunction: traumatic injuries, progressive neurological conditions, congenital conditions, or sudden stroke.

Traumatic injuries include: spinal cord, head and peripheral nerve injuries.

Progressive neurological conditions include: Parkinson's disease, ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)Multiple Sclerosis, and Muscular Distrophy.

Congenital conditions include: Cerebral Palsy, and Spina Bifida

Whatever condition our patients suffer from, PT Pros rehabilitation professionals work to optimize function, educate patients and their families, and consult with patients' schools or employers in an effort to provide an optimal work/learning environment with proper adaptive equipment if needed.
